Corn Soup

Mam Papaul's often prepared corn soup for her family of eight children. Leopold Faucheux, her husband, provided fresh corn and tomatoes from his bountiful garden. This hearty soup, served with hot French bread and butter (made from cream from the cow they had in the back yard) was a supper-time favorite! Mam Papaul's always made corn soup with baby shrimp from the river, don't 'ya know! (Use with Ham, Sausage, or Shrimp)
